Start off the festivities by supporting a truly wonderful organization with all they have to offer the Twin Cities. Thank you to the IMDA! We are anticipating a fantastic St. Patrick’s Day, starting in the Tea Room, then off to the Dubliner Pub, and onward to open for Boiled in Lead at the Cedar Cultural Center! We are honored to celebrate Winona LaDuke’s happy solar return and fundraiser at Tom’s Burned Down Cafe on Madeline Island. The Flotilla and Ride will raise awareness of the impact the pipelines are having in our communities, forests and wetlands, and how oil transport directly affects the health of those in its wake. Hoping for better! All hands! More details to come about this adventure.

We are singing out our colors in support of the great work This Old Horse does for our equine relations! Hoof it to the 5K walk/run, wander about the grounds, and take home a treasure from their silent auction. We’ll be playing throughout the morning, and hope to see you there!
A favorite civic engagement! Come on out for In the Heart of the Beast‘s spectacular parade and stay for the festival at Powderhorn Park in beautiful Minneapolis. We are so very excited to be able to offer up our energies at this beautiful, earthy event.
Come join us at the Jackson Street Roundhouse for National Train Day! This will be a fun-filled family day! We are performing from 3:00-4:00pm to cap off an afternoon alight with activities, artists, and the many interactive exhibits the museum has to offer.
Cats Laughing is amazing! This reunion show will be live streamed via Concert Window, as well as recorded for a CD/DVD. We are hopeful that our tracks will become the basis for our long awaited demo disc–Can’t believe we’ve been going strong two years on passion and word of mouth! SisterTree will be be up North for the weekend of March 6th and 7th. We will perform at the Larsmont Cottages on the Lake for their wine and cheese hour on Friday the 6th, followed by an evening at Sir Benedict’s Tavern on the Lake. On Saturday the 7th, we are very honored to perform for the White Earth Land Recovery Project’s 12th Annual Indigenous Farmer’s Conference.

Re-enactment time! These folks are offering a $1 raffle for a fully outfitted night at camp in a 10×14 tent with an awning, firepit, bedding, even costumes for a total immersion experience! At the last rendezvous, we got to practice some archery, see a foot-powered lathe and steam bent hoop-backed chairs, cheer on the blacksmiths, eat buffalo heart, and sing out with a wash-tub bass! St. Patrick’s Day is Dee’s birthday! Celebrate with us at Charlie’s Irish Pub/The Historic Water Street Inn in Stillwater, MN. We will be belting it out from 4:00-7:00pm.
We will be back for more at Roma Restaurant to kick off your St. Patrick’s Day weekend from 8:00-11:00pm. So pleased to have a couple of opportunities in such auspicious school district (it is down the street from where Dee Brust teaches the cherubs of OHA Elementary).
Roving wild for pizza and brew at the Thirsty Pagan in Superior, Wisconsin in the neighborhood of 8:00-11:00 pm. We may blend into the fabulous mural so as to appear an animated part of the artwork!
